Series 103 was a commuter train that appeared in 1963, and more than 3,400 cars were manufactured.
The 1000th generation is a group manufactured from 1970 for direct access to the Joban Line and the Chiyoda Subway Line, and measures were taken to enter the subway, such as making it flame-retardant and installing an emergency front gangway door.
The appearance is the image of a subway car, with an emerald green band of the Joban line in gray, and it was a unique existence in the 103 series of basic single color.
