JR N700-8000 Series Sanyo/Kyushu Shinkansen Basic Set
The N700-8000 series was introduced for through-service operations between the Sanyo and Kyushu Shinkansen lines.
The train features a "white-indigo" body color reminiscent of celadon porcelain, accented by dark indigo and gold stripes, and displays the "KYUSHU/WEST JAPAN" logo on the sides.
The 8000 series units belong to JR Kyushu and are designated as "R-series" trainsets.
