JR 12 Series Passenger Cars Gunma Rolling Stock Center
The 12 Series, an express passenger car introduced in 1969, features a two-tiered unit sash body and a distinctive blue body with two white stripes.
JR East Gunma Rolling Stock Center's 12 Series passenger cars are used for various event trains, and are widely used not only in the Takasaki area but also on loan within the JR East jurisdiction.
SuHaFu 12 Series cars No. 149-163 were the final additions to the fleet. Because some parts were shared with the 50 Series passenger cars, the shape of the hood and rear observation window were changed, resulting in a distinctive appearance.
●Reproduces the 12-series passenger car belonging to the Gunma Rolling Stock Center, primarily used for event trains.
●New jumper plug parts for the 12-series TN coupler are produced, recreating the three hoses that differ from the 14-series.
●The Suhafu 12-series has been redesigned to recreate the later model's small conductor's compartment window and exposed hood.
●The Suhafu 12-162 and Oha 12-368-series are recreated with car number positions different from when they were at the Takasaki Rolling Stock Center.
●The TN coupler is pre-installed on the conductor's compartment side of the Suhafu 12-162, and one set is included as a replacement for the Suhafu 12-161. ●The Suhafu 12-series antenna is included as a separate part.
●Includes a locomotive headmark "Express Tsugaru - Tsugaru"
●Red counter Includes a launch plate and drilling jig.
