98806 583 Series Express Train (Aomori Depot) Basic Set (6 Cars)
The 583 Series trains allocated to Aomori Depot at the time of privatization were used for the Hakutsuru, Yuuzuru, and Hatsukari trains, as well as the Tsugaru express and Akebono special trains.
After regular service ended in 1994, they were used for non-recurring transport, but when the Hatsukari express service ended in 2002 due to the extension of the Tohoku Shinkansen to Hachinohe, they were transferred to Minamiakita Depot and Sendai Depot, and no more trains of this type are in service.
