JR 205 series commuter train (Chuo/Sobu Line local trains) set
The 205 series is a commuter train that appeared in 1984.
The 205 series on the Chuo/Sobu Line was introduced in 1989, and two formations were initially introduced.
At its peak, four formations were active due to transfers from other lines, and later skirts were installed.
The next-generation vehicles of the 209-500 series were introduced in 1998 and the E231-0 series were introduced in 2000, and the 205 series was withdrawn from the line by 2001 and transferred to other lines.
