JR E1 series Joetsu Shinkansen (Max)
The E1 series Shinkansen, nicknamed Max, was introduced in 1994 and is Japan's first fully double-decker Shinkansen vehicle.
Starting in 2003, it was gradually changed to a new paint job, and was active until October 2012.
