Railway Collection WAKASA WA3000 Wakasa
● Wakasa Railway has a 19.2km line from Gunge Station, which connects with the Inbi Line, to Wakasa. The WT3000 series is an updated version of the WT2500 series manufactured at the time of conversion in 1987, and three cars are still in use as main vehicles. With the exception of some trains, the trains run directly from Gunge to the Inbi Line and to Tottori Station. Each car is designed by Eiji Mitooka and has a nickname: WT3001 is the Yazu, WT3003 is the Showa, and WT3004 is the Wakasa. The interior of each car has a warm atmosphere with plenty of wood.
