DD51-1000 Diesel Locomotive (JR Hokkaido Livery) TOMIX 2251

The DD51 locomotives operated by JR Hokkaido were repainted in blue with gold star markings to coincide with the start of service for the sleeper express "Hokutosei."

They primarily operated on passenger trains, including the "Hokutosei," but were retired in 2016 with the discontinuation of the sleeper express "Cassiopeia" and the express train "Hamanasu."
