Series E2 No. 1000 or over Shinkansen (Bullet Train) "Hayate" made its debut in December, 1998 in 10 car configuration when the Shinkansen station, Hachinohe, was opened. It is a revised version of E2 No. 0 or over, which was operated on Nagano, Joetsu and Tohoku Shinkansen lines. Each window was expanded over two rows of seat inside, the red line was changed into pink and a symbol marks of swallow and apple were painted on the body. Currently it runs at the highest speed of 275 km/h between Tokyo and Hachinohe in the northern part of Japan.
The "Kato" scale model is equipped with a coupler which can connect another Shinkansen train just like it is practiced in the real trains.

Kato will manufacture the N-scale model of EF65 1000 the late stage with JR mark put on the body at the time of privatization of JNR.
EF65 1000 is a general-use DC electric locomotive for operation on plain areas which was designed for control of double heading and operation in cold regions. The locomotive was widely used to draw normal passenger trains, sleeper blue trains and normal or high-speed cargo trains.
On the occasion that Seto Great Bridge was built over the Seto Inland Sea and the sleeper limited express “Seto” came to Takamatsu in Shikoku Island, the locomotive was selected thanks to the relatively light wheel axle weight and used as a tractor locomotive for a long time.

This steam locomotive emerged in 1938 and engaged in drawing train named “Steam” in the yard since it had entered into “Umekoji Steam Locomotive Museum” in 1972. Nonetheless, it returned to the mainlines in November, 2017 to draw steam locomotive train “Yamaguchi”
This locomotive is characterized by a gorgeous atmosphere created with golden decoration here and there such as boiler bands or deflector rims or with white color painted on the run board sides.

A tram wrapped like a Japanese police car which can be seen in some towns. It is a handy small streetcar you can enjoy in the friendly design. It is recommendable to operate it alongside of other pocket line series and other scale models.
