GLACIER EXPRESS KATO 10-2026

The popular and classic "Glacier Express" model train set is back with a new specification, incorporating the luxurious "Excellence Class" carriages.

The actual train traverses the European Alps in southwestern Switzerland, running from Zermatt to St. Moritz across two railway companies, the Rhaetian Railway and the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway, taking a leisurely eight hours to complete the journey. It's a popular panoramic sightseeing train where passengers can enjoy the magnificent Alpine scenery from the windows. In 2019, the "Excellence Class," an even higher class than first class, was introduced, bringing changes to the existing carriages as well.
