GREENMAX 50846 Keihan 3000 Series Premium 2-Car
The Keihan 3000 series is a 3-door train nicknamed "Comfort Saloon" that debuted in October 2008 to coincide with the opening of the Nakanoshima Line.
The interior and exterior color design have been completely revamped, and the seating arrangement has been changed to semi-cross seats, including 1+2 automatic reversible cross seats, making it capable of handling various operations in addition to rush hour.
In 2021, the "Premium Car," a special reserved-seat car, was introduced. Due to its popularity with users, in 2025, a newly built Premium Car was added as the 5th car from the Kyoto end (car 5), replacing the conventional general car, resulting in a 2-car configuration within the train set. Accordingly, the 3150 series, which was the previous car 5, was renumbered to the 3100 series, and its coupling position was changed to car 4.
