When I was 10 years old , I have memories of riding in passenger coaches on school field trips. Hankyu Railway is a commuter railway designed for business travel. Back then, JNR (Japan National Railways) used standard passenger coaches, whereas today, it has truly transformed into a commuter-focused service that competes directly with Hankyu. Model trains evoke those memories for me; they bring back the feeling of looking out the window and seeing the scenes captured in this photograph.
