Tomix 98446 Northern Alps

Kiha 8200 series crossing the railway bridge on the Takayama Line. This is the Meitetsu Kiha 8200 Series, TOMIX 98446. I don't think TOMIX will sell it again. This is the last one in our shop. It was an express train that ran through the mountains of Japan called Takayama. The impressive thing is the windows that let you see all the greenery. The great Japanese novelist Nishimura Kyotaro used it for a trick in "The Northern Alps Express Murder Case." This model train is beautiful. Running it a little dirty is also part of the art.
