Tomix 98572 JR 733-1000 Series Commuter Train (Hakodate Liner)

There will be 32 regular trains running 16 round trips between Hakodate Station and Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station, connecting with all Shinkansen ``Hayabusa'' and ``Hayate'' except for the first up train in the morning and the last down train at midnight. Of these, 6 outbound trains and 7 upbound trains will be operated as rapid trains. In addition, immediately after the opening of the Hokkaido Shinkansen and during high-passenger periods such as Golden Week and the year-end and New Year holidays, up to three additional round trips of special rapid trains will be made.

Until the opening of the Shinkansen, most of the regional trains (formerly known as the ``Ukiuki'') that operated between Hakodate Station and Nanae Station have been replaced by the ``Hakodate Liner'' local trains, which also play a role in Hakodate's suburban transportation.
