Winter in Japan is now at its peak. Yesterday's news said that the sudden temperature drop has caused snow to start melting. There have been a lot of accidents. It's going to snow again this weekend. Hokkaido is experiencing a snowstorm. The Shinkansen is designed to withstand that, but as expected, service has been suspended. It's tough.
