381 series “Super Kuroshio”

“Super Kuroshio” ran on the Kisei Main Line
"Super Kuroshio" was introduced in 1989 by modifying the 381 series for "Kuroshio". The Salo 381 has been modified to be the lead car, and various improvements have been made, including a panoramic green car with a large front window and enlarged side windows, improved interior accommodation, and an exterior design with red and orange on a white background. The image of "Kuroshio", which had previously been operated by the Japanese National Railways-colored 381 series, was changed. When it first appeared, it was a 6-car train, but with the addition of 3 additional cars, it became a maximum of 9 cars and was used as a limited express train connecting the Kansai area and Nanki.
