The Meitetsu 1000 series is a limited express train that debuted in 1988 as a successor to the 7000 series "Panorama Car". Nicknamed "Panorama Super", it features high-decker observation seats and bucket-type rotating reclining seats that allow you to enjoy the view from the front. It also comes with a full range of service equipment such as toilets, in-car information displays, and real-time news displays, and the maximum speed is now 120km/h.
The four-car 1000 series special trains were retired in December 2008 due to a review of the limited express policy, and the equipment of the 5000 series commuter trains was used for the rest of the trains, with the exception of some of the cars that were converted into special trains, and the trains were scrapped.
The Meitetsu 3100 series is a two-car version of the 3700 series that appeared in 1997, and the car body and interior facilities are almost identical to those of the 3700 series.
Taking advantage of the flexibility of a fixed 2-car formation, it is used for coupled operation with 3000 series commuter cars and on branch lines, as well as for adding cars to some special express trains such as the 2200 series.
From June 2019, some trains have been repainted in the same color as the 2200 series express trains and have begun to be used.
The Kintetsu 1026 series is a vehicle manufactured for the Kyoto and Nara lines from 1993. Based on the 1020 series, it adopts VVVF inverter control and bolsterless bogies, and six 4-car trains and three 6-car trains were manufactured.
Currently, all 6-car trains have been modified to be compatible with the Hanshin direct-connection service, and together with the 5800 series, they are used on the Hanshin line and on the Kyoto, Nara, Kashihara, and Tenri lines.
In recent years, there have been changes both inside and outside the car, such as the addition of fall prevention hoods, removal of the VVVF logo, interior renewal, and installation of LCDs.
