Hankyu Electric Railway runs near my store in Japan.  KATO sell this type 26 June 2025

The 2300 series is a Kyoto Line limited express train with a concept of "a new Hankyu style that is safe, comfortable, and environmentally friendly." It inherits the image of the "Hankyu train," which won the 2022 Good Design Long Life Design Award, with its traditional maroon-colored body, wood-grain veneer, and golden olive-colored seats, while incorporating curves into the front window glass to create a "sense of speed."

To provide a friendly travel space for all customers, we have enhanced barrier-free facilities by expanding the wheelchair space in the front car, lowering the height of the handrails, and changing the color of the straps to take into consideration color vision diversity. In addition, we have adopted inverter-type air conditioners and air purifiers with excellent energy-saving and quiet performance for the first time in our company, as well as installing security cameras and adding more grab bars, creating a safer and more comfortable interior space. In addition, by adopting control devices using the latest highly efficient semiconductor elements, power consumption has been reduced by approximately 60% compared to existing vehicles.
