Summer Steam Locomotive D51

Summer arrived earlier than usual in Japan this year. I can hear summer songs. What is the summer song of your country?

KATO has released the standard type steam locomotive D51. The number is 2016-9. D51 was an iconic steam locomotive of JR which appeared in 1935 and was produced in 1,115 cars., the most quantity ever manufactured of a steam engine in Japan. As a steam engine made fit to railways in Japan, it was used to be in service on mainlines and sub-mainlines pulling passenger trains and freight trains.

When summer vacation comes, D51 will pull tourist trains. I hope it will run forever.
