Kintetsu 5200 series (renewed car, selectable car number) 4-car set (with power)
The Kintetsu 5200 series was introduced in 1988 (Showa 63) as an express and group car. Since it is mainly used for long-distance trains with infrequent stops, it has a body with 1300mm wide double-door doors on each side, and all automatic convertible cross seats to ensure seating capacity and comfort. Since 2007 (Heisei 19), the body has been renewed, including replacement of the interior and exterior, and it is active on the Osaka Line and Nagoya Line as Kintetsu's only 3-door convertible cross seat car.
The 5200 series includes the 5208F and up, the 5209F and 5210F, which use SIVs as auxiliary power units, and the 5211F to 5213F, which use bolsterless bogies.
