JR Kyushu BEC819 series 100s (Wakamatsu Line/Kashii Line)
The BEC819 series is the world's first alternating current battery storage vehicle developed by JR Kyushu, and was released in 2016. The vehicles have specifications and performance similar to the 817 series, and are also operated in parallel. It is characterized by the blue side door and the blue storage battery placed completely under the floor of Kuha.
The 100s is a group that has been modified and renumbered from the 0s, and all 4 cars in 2 formations are active.

■Train radio antenna and signal flare are integrated
■Headlights (white), taillights (red), and front type/destination display (white) are lit.
