(HO) TAKI 1000 Special Painting for No.1000

The TAKI 1000 is a high-performance tank car built for fast and freight transport. Introduced in 1993, this model has seen steady upgrades over 28 years, with efficient over 1,000 units produced by 2021.

To commemorate the milestone of the 1000th car, the TAKI 1000-1000 was given a special livery that combines the paint schemes of both Nippon Oil Transport Co. and Japan Oil Terminal Co., along with the three-color scheme of JR Freight, its Operator.

① This product replicates the Taki 1000-1000, which was completed in 2021 (Reiwa 3) with a special paint scheme to commemorate the 1000th unit.
② The paint scheme, featuring stripes of three colors—green of Nippon Oil Transportation, blue of Nippon Oil Terminal, and light blue of JR Freight, which operates the train—and the vibrant design with each company's logo lined up, is accurately reproduced.
③ The car number "Taki 1000-1000" is pre-printed.
④ The body shape with varying diameters is realistically and accurately reproduced using plastic molding technology.
⑤ Details of various parts of the body, such as handrails, underframes, and piping, are realistically and accurately reproduced.
⑥ The three-dimensional FT21 bogie and the "roller bearing section where the axle ends actually rotate" recreate realistic running scenes.
⑦ Reflector (reflective plate) parts that can be attached when the train is at the rear are included. They can be attached and detached just like the real train.
*Some details of the shape differ because parts from existing Taki 1000 products are reused.
