313-5300 Series "Shinkaisoku" 2-Car Add-on Set
The 313 series was introduced in 1999. With specifications tailored to each line and a wide variety of car models, it has become the face of JR Central's commuter and suburban trains. The 5000 and 5300 series are assigned to the Ogaki Depot and are widely used in the Chukyo region. The interior features fully reversible cross seats, and for improved ride comfort at high speeds, the 5000 series features inter-car dampers and (on the 5000 series) semi-active devices. The 5000 series consists of six cars, while the 5300 series consists of two cars. For "Shinkaisoku" services, trains of up to eight cars can be seen in service.
This product will feature the 313 series 5000/5300 (Shinkaisoku), which primarily operate in the Chukyo region, updated to the current specifications, including the omission of the affiliation designation. ・Reproduces a two-car group manufactured for extensions based on the 5000 Series. Like the actual trains, these do not feature inter-car dampers.

●Destination signs read "Special Rapid Service Ogaki" on both the front and sides. Includes a replacement front display "Toyohashi Limited Express" (plain)
● The intermediate coupling section uses a close-coupled body-mounted coupler with a hook, while the front section uses a close-coupled coupler without a hook (two-stage electric coupler included)
● The slotless motor ensures smooth and quiet running
● Head/tail lights and front display lights up (with switch to turn them off)
● Includes a sticker to recreate the non-slip surface on the top of the step, a feature of the 313 series front
