JR Shikoku 8000 Series Limited Express "Shiokaze/Ishizuchi" 3-Car Set

●The cars that were undergoing renovation work starting in 2004 are now available. The 8500 series (3-car set) reproduces the specifications when the pantograph was removed after around 2010.
●The 5-car set reproduces the L4 formation, and the 3-car set reproduces the S5 formation.
●The 3-car set is a "Best Selection" package that is easy to recommend to beginner customers.
●The characteristic appearance is reproduced, such as the non-through side leading shape that makes extensive use of curved surfaces to create a sense of speed, and the pantograph control device on the roof.
●The head/tail lights are lit on each leading car. The through-type leading cars 8400/8200 series have a light-off switch.
●Each car uses a body-mounted close-coupling coupler without a hook. The through-type leading car has a dummy coupler. Coupler and skirt for coupling for the 8400/8200 series are included.
●The powered cars of the 5-car and 8-car sets have traction tires, while the 3-car set has no traction tires for coupled operation.
●Slotless motors are used to achieve smooth and quiet running.
●KATO's unique car body pendulum mechanism reproduces the inward tilt of the car body when passing through curves, just like the real car.
