DE10 "Warm Region" Specification (2026-7 Production Run)

The DE10 is a JNR diesel locomotive that debuted in 1966. A total of 708 units were manufactured for use in shunting operations and for hauling passenger and freight trains on branch lines, serving actively across the country. It is beloved for its distinctive styling, featuring an offset "semi-center cab" (a hood-type body with the cab positioned toward one end) and an unusual five-axle drive configuration. Even today, following the transition to the JR Group, it continues to play an active role nationwide in tasks ranging from shunting to hauling passenger and freight trains.

We are re-releasing the DE10 "Warm Region" specification model, which is active in shunting freight and passenger cars and operating on non-electrified local lines. As a versatile diesel locomotive, this product allows you to enjoy hauling a wide variety of rolling stock, whether freight or passenger cars.
