Resa 5000
The Resa 5000 series was a refrigerated car for transporting fresh fish. 28 cars were manufactured in 1968. Stationed in the Shirinai area of Morioka, they operated from Hachinohe and Same to Tokyo and Yokohama markets. The model was discontinued in 1984. These cars were locomotive-driven by double-headed ED75s, EF65-1000s, and EF15s. They were operated in seven-car formations, sometimes expanded to 11-car formations. A caboose (such as the Yo 5000) was also attached to the rear of the train.
Accurately reproduces the Resa 5000's distinctive features, such as the "Mori" markings and TR216 bogies.
