Wamu 80000-280000 Freight

●The WAM-80000 was introduced in 1960 as a 15-ton, two-axle covered freight car adapted for pallet transport in response to the increasing mechanization of cargo handling.
●It features large side doors that allow all sides of the car to be opened and closed.
●This is the largest standard freight car in Japanese railway history, with a total production of 26,605 cars.
●It was also the first model to feature the "Auburn No. 2" paint color.
●The 280000 series is a majority group known for its extended wheelbase and enhanced running stability.
●The WAM-380000 model was modified to use roller bearings for improved maintainability, and its exterior paint color was changed to freight blue from 1991 to 1993.
●We are pleased to present a full fine-scale redesign of the WAM-80000 covered freight car, a representative JNR type freight car.
●In addition to general freight trains mixed with a variety of JNR freight cars, we also recommend recreating long, dedicated trains used for transporting paper, etc., and combining them with locomotives such as the 3046-1 EF66 100 series and the 3075-2 ED75 0 late model.
