Series 287 Panda Kuroshio "Smile Adventure Train
Series 287 Panda Kuroshio is a wrapped train, marking in 2017 JR West Japan's 30th anniversary and in 2018 the 40th anniversay of the Adventure Worls (Shirahama, Wakayama). It is very popular with an impressive Giant Panda face on the front and various scenes of active animals in the animal park.
A slotless motor is used for driving and the front coupler on the top is the Kato tight coupler without hook + electric coupler parts. * In order to couple with the conventional train add-on set, another type front coupler is sold separately for exchange.

・The blue-color gradation beneath the side edge of the cab is reproduced.
・The employment of a slotless motor has realized smooth and quiet run.
・Kato tight coupler without hook is used on the head of the top car. Electric coupler parts are included. Body-mounted tight couplers are used for mid-car connection.
