JR Class EH500 Electric Locomotive (1st Series)

The Class EH500 is an articulated (two-unit) AC/DC electric locomotive introduced by JR Freight in March 2000.
Assigned to the Sendai General Railway Depot, Class EH500 units primarily haul freight trains between the Tokyo metropolitan area and the Tohoku region.
Units 1 and 2 are classified as the "1st Series" and are distinguished by headlights and tail lights positioned at the bottom of the front end, a large "JRF" mark, and the "Kintaro" logo placed in a high position.
Currently, Unit 2 has been modified to match standard units by removing the "JRF" mark and adopting the standard "Kintaro" logo, while Unit 1 remains in its original configuration.
