JR E8 Series Yamagata Shinkansen Tsubasa Add-On
The E8 Series is a Yamagata Shinkansen train that began operation in March 2024.
This series replaces the existing E3 Series and is capable of running at a maximum speed of 300 km/h between Utsunomiya and Fukushima.
15 trains are scheduled to be introduced by 2026.
