JNR 72/73 Series Commuter Train Add-on Set
The 72/73 Series appeared as an improved version of the 63 Series train, and served as the standard commuter train in the Tokyo and Osaka metropolitan areas at the time. In later years, they replaced 17m-class vehicles on local lines and served until 1985.
In the 1950s and 1960s, changes to specifications and vehicle body renewals resulted in many variations in form.

-The odd-numbered KuMoHa 73 cars are modernized cars equipped with direction signs and reproduce the cars without air-working tubes on the front
-MoHa 72 and KuHa 79 reproduce the 920 series of all-gold cars

-Combined with <98377>, it is possible to reproduce the 8-car formation seen on the Keihin-Tohoku Line,
combined with <97211>, it is possible to reproduce the 7-car formation seen on the Yokohama Line
-Ventilators for KuHa 79 and MoHa 72 are already installed, and KuMoHa 73 modernized cars can be selected between old and new models
-Lightning arresters are already installed
-Head and tail lights and front display are lit by incandescent LEDs
-Head and tail lights and front display are equipped with a constant-light board and an ON-OFF switch
-Front display is The color prism is used to light up in a color close to white.

Can be used when combining with <98377>.
- Equipped with a close-coupled TN coupler (SP) with piping.
- The driver's side of the leading car uses a TN coupler with a small body support.
- The car number is selectable and a transfer sheet is included.
- Uses a new current collection system and black wheels.
