Hakone Tozan Railway 2000 Series St. Moritz (Allegra Paint) Set

The Hakone Tozan Railway is a railway that runs between Odawara and Gora with a maximum gradient of 80‰ (per mille).
The 2000 Series St. Moritz was introduced in 1989, and the first and second trains were manufactured as two-car trains.
In 1993, intermediate cars were manufactured for each train, making it a three-car train, but in 2004 the intermediate cars were transferred to the 1000 Series and it became a two-car train again.
Since 1999, the second train has been painted to match the trains of the Rhaetian Railway in Switzerland, with which the company has a sister relationship, but in 2014 it was repainted in Allegra paint to coincide with the start of operation of the 3000 Series Allegra, and it is also operated as a three-car train coupled with one 3000 Series car.
Since the paint change, the headlights have been converted to LEDs and single-arm pantographs have been installed, changing the appearance.
