JR N700 Series (N700S) Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen Add-On Set A
The N700S is a new type of Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen train developed based on the existing N700 series.
A confirmation test vehicle for this series was introduced in March 2018, and various tests were conducted.
A production train based on the confirmation test vehicle was manufactured and began operation primarily on the Nozomi service in July 2020.
The production train features changes to the front car's bogie cover and antenna shape.
●This set (cars 3, 4, 10, and 11) can be combined with the <98424> Basic Set and the <98426> Add-on Set B to create a full 16-car formation.
●The 746-500, 737-0, and 746-700 feature newly manufactured car bodies different from those used in the test cars.
●"N700 Supreme" logo printed.
