
401 Series Commuter Train (High Driver's Cab, New Paint)

The 401 Series is an AC/DC commuter train developed for the Joban Line in 1960, and at some point the front of the leading car was given a high driver's cab like the Kuha 153-500 Series. The exterior was originally painted rose pink, but in 1983 it was gradually changed to cream with a blue stripe to coincide with the Tsukuba Expo held in 1985.

● Front display is lit in a color close to white by using a color prism.
● Front display is replaceable and comes with printed parts "Normal (white background)" and "(white background)".
● Car number is selectable and a transfer sheet is included.
● New current collection system and black wheels are used.
